    Default Spyfader

I've been having problems with Windows XP not shutting down when programs that are running stop running (i.e., they just freeze for no reason). Bringing the task manager up and clicking on "end program," usually does not force the program to end.
This happened this evening and for a very brief moment I saw a program in the task manager called spyfader.
Googling the term brought up 286 hits. The sites I went to were outdated, having dates going back to 2004, with a few of 2005.
The sites read it was a Trojan or it was spyware, with a couple seeming to call it a Trojan spyware (is that possible?). I read enough to realize it's probably causing a lot of the irritating problems being experienced on my machine.
    What is spyfader?
How does one get rid of it?
    Thanks for any info.

    Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
    Software Version:7.0
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite
