I had the antispyware disabled because I have to use Spyware Doctor 5.1 to keep tracking and ad cookies out of my machine and had wanted just one antispyware program running.
Just using Zone Alarm Security Suite 7 did NOT stop the tracking and ad cookies.
They were so abundant that my Internet speed was operating at only 6.2 Mbps while I was paying for 10 Mbps.
When I added Spyware Doctor 5.1, they were all eliminated and my average speed went up to 9.3 Mbps.
I also have kept Zone Alarm out of my boot up sequence and enabled it after I booted up.
notice that, as soon as I started Zone Alarm up, many times it would update itself.
When it did that update, my PC would freeze requiring a cold boot.
The freeze prevented a warm boot.
Thus, I am now going to keep the ZA antispyware active at the SAME time as the Spyware Doctor is active.
I tested my Internet speed and it did not downgrade it.
After the latest ZASS update my versions are as follows:
Will the next ZASS version correct this problem?
Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite
