Default What is set debug level?

I have ZA Antispyware 7.0.462 on XP SP2.. Pressing Ctrl+Shift, right clicking on the ZA tray icon, one option that appears is 'set debug level'.Clicking on that opens a small box with some options. What are these? I can't find anything in the help file.
Just curious to see if I can stop tvdebug.log from growing as rapidly as it does at present (several hundred KB added each day). That would save me swithching off ZA to delete the file quite so often, when it has grown to tens of MB.

    Dear JRosenfeld:

I'm not sure. I only found out about this undocumented feature by reading this post:

    Hope this helps.

I use Vista Ultimate with Zone Alarm Security Suite:
    ZoneAlarm Security Suite version:7.1.078.000
    TrueVector version:7.1.078.000
    Driver version:7.1.078.000
    Anti-virus engine version:3
    Anti-virus signature DAT file version:20071218235000
    Anti-spyware engine version:5.0.189.0
    Anti-spyware signature DAT file version:01.200712.3025
    AntiSpam version:5.0.0.8843
I do not seem to have this option of resetting the database. I can access something called "set debug level".
    Am I missing something??
    What is the debug level??

I can't find any documentation for set debug level. However, I notice that it allows a choice of dump flags. As a retired programmer, this suggests that it was a "feature" intended for use by the ZA development programmers and probably shouldn't be in the released version.
But this is only a GUESS. I'll leave the feature alone unless told to use it by Tech Support.
On the other hand, the reset database feature is handy!

    Dear jdoliver:

Thanks for your input. That makes sense. I don't plan on using it before I know what it's about. The odd key combo makes it unlikely that anyone would activate it by accident.

    Dear dogdog:

You double posted. Please don't do that as it creates lots of redundant entries and wastes the respondent's time especially if it has been answered already in the other post.

    Hi!

Debug level is related to the amount of information ZA will store on the Internet Logs folder recording its functioning and activities of your system.

It is for troubleshooting and should not be used (you will get a lot of unnecessary data stored in your system) unless indicated by the ZA technical support.

    Cheers,
