    Default Scanning a network drive

I have recently installed ZA on my home network. The network consists of two laptops running XP Home and a network drive, all communicate with each other without problems. My previous Security Suite allowed scanning of the network drive. With ZA when I go to Advanced Options off the Antivirus main page, and then Scan Targets in the Virus Management sub heading I can only see the Drives etc of the PC being used. All IP addresses are listed individually in the trusted Zone of the firewall. How can the network drive be added to the Scan Targets options? Thanks

    Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
    Software Version:
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite

    Dear strsimon:

ZAISS and the other ZA editions are personal or host software firewalls. They do not protect a network. Only enterprise software firewalls do that. Hardware firewalls protect a network, depending upon the topology and placement of the firewall. Routers can provide firewall-like features, such as SPI, but their effectiveness is also based on topology and placement.

    Hope this helps.
