    Default Virus Scan blocking itself

    While performing the weekly scan I keep getting high security alert messages which pause the scan process. Ironically, the messages are concerning the scan application itself (ScanningProcess.exe) and require me to allow or deny the application behaviour. It doesn't matter whether I select "allow" or "deny" the alert keeps on showing, and prevents completion of the scan.
    Anyone knows what should I do?

    Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
    Software Version:
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite
