I've got ZAISS, version 7.0.462.000 running on a new Ultra Mobile with Windows XP Professional.
XP has all the updates.
When I update Antivirus/Antispyware, the Antispyware updates or is up-to-date.
The Antivirus last sucessfully updated on Jan 18, around noon.
It's been giving errors ever since ("The task encountered an error".
I tried advice given in another thread in this forum.
I deleted all the files in \Windows\System32\ZoneLabs\Updates.
LocalCatalog wouldn't delete with ZA shut down so I did a clean boot and was able to delete it.
I deleted all the IE cache files.
However, I got the same update problem after I restarted.
My ZA updates folder currently contains two folders, anti_spyware and updcomponent, and the LocalCatalog file.
Both folders are empty, however, I saw the anti-spyware database download and had to restart.
Update Progress now reports the Anti-Spyware is Up to date but the Anti-virus task still encounters an error.
Do you have any suggestions on what I can do to get Anti-virus updates?
