Default Is Mozilla Thunderbird supported by ZA suite?

I use Mozilla Thunderbird as an email client but I also have Outlook installed (that I DO NOT use for email)
    .
I have noticed that when I open Outlook, I see a message indicating that my ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite is scanning it for any viruses.
However, I don't see any such messages when I open Thunderbird.
I also don't see any way to confirm or configure what email client is actually being protected by ZAISS.
Does your product actually support Thunderbird?
IF not, why not and when can I expect the support to be provided??

    Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition

    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite

Was it virus's or the junk mail scanner?

I have the same setup, and there is no indication of either the junk email or av scanning, although I imagine that at least the av is working, since it monitors the standard ports used for email. In Windows Live Mail, you get the splash screen that ZISS is active, and the junk email and screen message folders appear, but that doesn't happen in Thunderbird, which has been around a bit longer than Windows Live Mail. It would be nice to see ZISS provide full support for TBird.

    Thanks! Jeff

The virus scanner is always running. If a file is accessed, then the virus scanner scans it (as long as the virus scanner is active). The junk mail scanner only works for Outlook and outlook Express. I don't even think Windows Mail in Vista is supported.
