is using lots of memory
I went through the process of narrowing down the process which ScanningProcess.exe was bumping up against.
It turns out to be
software which came with a San Disk memory card reader
which i purchased a couple months
I'v had zone alarm suite for about six months and did not have this problem until I upgraded Zone
a couple days
ago to version 7.0.470.
The San Disk had been installed for a couple months without any problems or contention
Its too late to return the card reader and I like the reader anyway...so I was
wondering if there was something which could be done in Zone Alarm.
I can turn the San Disk software off, but it is necessary for the reader to fully functional as it has a copy button on the card reader hardware which interacts with the software.
I did verify that turning on the San Disk monitor
would cause the ScannerProcess.exe to start using tons O CPU and cause the response on the PC to be poor.
Then when turning the San Disk monitor off the ScannerProcess.exe would settle back down.
The San Disk process is named "SD Monitor.exe".
let me know if any other info is required.
