Default System Volume not scanned during manual AV scan

Hello:
During a manual AV Scan , I notice that System Volume doesnt show in the Scan Details.
I do have System Volume Information checked in the
Scan Targets under Advanced.
So far I'm running
Scan Priority on -->High
Since I had found two viruses in the system
restore over the past year while I was
using ZASS 6.1, I'm concerned that ZAISS 7.0 isn't scanning the System Volume Information.
I have been able to get the System volume folder to be scanned manually when I right click on System Volume after unhiding hidden files and folders and system files.
But
shouldn't the system volume be automatically scanned on a manual full system scan?
Thanks in advance:
-Eliuri

Hi!yes, it does... probably you have missed it while looking at the various files been scanned.Did you always looked to scan windows for all hour(s) of the scan?Did the manual scan of the volume found any malware? Don't worry you did the right move. The AV engine in version 6 is very weak.Cheers,Fax

Hi again, Fax.

No. I just watch the scan details after it goes through Program-Utilities--Updates and then Recyclers which is the order it's listed in the Scan Targets listings in Advanced Options. That's where I notice it goes directly to WINDOWS and seems to skip System volume information.

No malware at all was found when I ran that specific scan of the System volume Information last night.

Thanks again:

I am not sure if this will have anything to do with it, but do you still have the system files and folders hidden in windows?

Yes Hoov. I do generally have system files and folders hidden as well as : "Do not show hidden files and folders".

In the ZASS 6.1 this didn't affect the scanning of System Volume. Perhaps in 7.0 it does?

Hi!
the scan does not follow the listing in the scan targets...
It can jump up/down... system volume is scanned towards the end (if I remember well).

Cheers,

Honestly, I have no idea. I don't usually watch what gets scanned. I set it to scan everything and leave it to do its thing. fax probably has it right though.
