Since a few days ago, everytime I run a deep inspection scan with anti-spyware, the scan will get stuck on "MountPointManagerRemoteDatabase" which is located in the C:\System Volume Information. The scan will run for hours on that file and not finish, even though the progress bar is still moving, and I must either reboot the computer or log off to get out of the scan. Also, I tried to turn System Restore off, and that doesn't help either. Is there anything I can try before reinstalling? I update my AV and AS all the time and I'm using ZAISS 7.0.473.000, on XP Pro with Service Pack 3, which by the way I'm guessing has something to do with this because it didn't start until I updated to SP3.
