Let me start by saying that my technical knowledge is not great.
So, please be generous:
I re-downloaded ZA after the recent Internet connectivity issue; and, initiated a full anti-virus/anti-spyware scan.
I got the following:
(1) The "Exploit.PHP.userpic.a Virus" was present. (But, apparently, it was only a "false positive" according to people who know . . . which, for people like me, STILL
doesn't answer the question if ZA actually sent out a product with a virus embedded or not.)
(2) ZA had a problem scanning the following:
certain files in the C:\WINDOWS\system32\ folder (namely, "config" and "drivers&quot as well as
C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\EventCache.
Under the "Action" Pane, all I got was the message: "Error: Handle Is Invalid."
I'm presuming that this means that there is some problem with the file's address.
But, how could that be?
Further, could there be a relation to the Exploit-virus issue?
I tried scanning just the System 32 folder alone with ZA -- but, came up with the same error messages.
Thanks.
