My subscription is about to expire.
I like the program except for the amount of time the anti-virus scan takes.
I have it set to scan once a week and it usually takes 17 to 18 hours and slows my computer to a crawl while it is running.
This week it took 18:12:34 to scan 901,859 files.
(The spyware scan takes ~ 45 minutes.)
I e-mailed tech support several times and the answer I got was, to either do a clean uninstall/reinstall or reset ZA.

After several back and forth e-mails with them I got it can take a long time to complete a scan.
I have tried to cancel the scan a couple of times so I could finish a project, but all that did was completely freeze the computer, after restarting, it tried to start another (unscheduled) scan.
It usually takes 3 restarts to stop the scan.
Again tech support s answer was to either do a clean uninstall/reinstall or reset, (didn't fix the problem).
Is there some way to speed this process up?
I would like to keep the program, but this interferes with my use of the computer.
(I also have Spysweeper on the computer.
It runs every night, but is scheduled run and be completed before ZA starts its weekly scan.)
