Default Is Anti-Spyware detecting everything it should?

    Dear
    ZoneAlarm community,
First off, I'd like to say ZoneAlarm is a great program when it comes to firewall and anti-virus software, but anti-spyware scans
have me puzzled. To make a long story short,
when I start a spyware scan,
    in the "Current Data" field,
I can see plenty of Win32.Trojan.downloader , Win32.Trojan.Backdoor and the like showing up,
and ZA tells me my PC is clean, but I've seen tens of these suspicious filenames go by. My software is all updated to the latest version, and I performed an update this morning. Is ZoneAlarm failing to detect pieces of spyware, or are these just false alarms?
    cheers,PF

    Operating System:Windows Vista Ultimate
    Software Version:7.1 (Vista)
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite

    Hi

You are probably seeing the ZA's list of definitions as it runs through the list showing what it is looking for and not actually looking at the scan results (which is stating your pc is clean).
You can rest easy and now relax.

Well, thanks for answering, I don't really know why I didn't think of that earlier. But hey, life goes on.

    Cheers,

    Not a problem.
New things do things differently and are not always so easily figured out at the first few glances.
    Best regards.
