    Default running slow

    I have updated to version
    I had no problems with the installation, but the scans are running really slow and take all of the system resources.
    It's worse than the version from a year ago.
    Is something not set right?

    Operating System:Windows XP Pro
    Software Version:8.0
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Antivirus

    check the settings. The first scan is done in 'deep' mode.
    You can move it to 'normal' after (scan mode). See advanced options of the ZA antivirus/antispyware tab.
    Also check your scanning priority is set to HIGH, this will increase speed of scan if your system can manage.
