    Default spyware update

    I keep getting the following message: "cannot decipher spyware database: failed to process input file 'C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ZoneLabs\SPYWARE0.DAT'" when I try to update my spyware .dat file. Any suggestions?

    Operating System:Windows XP Pro x64
    Software Version:8.0
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Anti-Spyware

    Hi,

    I am also having exactly the same problem: On doing an update, the antivirus update performs flawlessly, but the spyware update comes to a halt with the words: cannot decipher spyware database:failed to process input file C:\windows\system32\Zonelabs\spyware0.dat

    OS: Windows XP Professional SP3

    Zonelabs Internet Security Suite version 8.0.059.000

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    I am sure we are not the only folks having the problem. I hope someone who might know a solution reads this thread?

    Version 8 ZA Antispyware? Is there really such a product? I thought last ZA-AS was v7.
    Perhaps that's why no answers.

    Search for spyware0.dat,
    I found this interesting link, but there are others
