Default AV automatic updates in spite of scheduled time

    ZA Security Suite version 8.0.059.000
True Vector security engine version 8.0.059.000
    Driver Version 8.0.059.000
AV engine version 6.0.2.678 DAT file 966160941
Anti Spyware engine version 5.0.202.0 DAT file 01.2008.12.5065

I am still running in training mode

Fully updated XP Professional SP3 on a Dell D500 Intel Pentium @ 1300 MHZ w/512Meg of RAM Verizon FIOS

Updater runs every hour in spite of being set for updating every 12 hours. This has become highly intrusive as the computer comes to a crawl while the update runs. Any thoughts?

    Operating System:Windows XP Pro
    Software Version:8.0
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite

Hi!yes, its a known issue... the latest ZAX beta have fixed it.Just set it to manual and update at your convinience.Updating every 12 hours its not really good.... better every hour unless you have problems.Cheers,Fax

Same thing with me and I have my scheduled updates set at every 24 hours. I'll go to manual until the glitch is corrected.
