    Default I cannot uninstall Zone Alarm due to an error message abo...

    I cannot uninstall Zone Alarm due to an error message about other
    True Vector programs still running. Can anyone help solve this problem?

    I'm having the same problem, only now mine is a little worse. I'm in Windows XP. I read a fix on this site that told me to boot into safe mode, navigate to c:\windows\internet logs, and delete backup.rbd and iamdb.rbd, then reboot back to normal mode. I rebooted, but it put me into safe mode again, and again, and again. So then I went to windowsupdate.microsoft.com to see if I was missing a file or something and that froze up after the scan started. So then I rebooted and hit system restore. Now I'm looking at a black screen in safe mode...
    My computer is about 1 year old and I have never had a problem until I tried to upgrade to the new Internet suite. I loaded it for the first time on my laptop and had no problems.

    I have tried go into "safe" mode but cannot click on it (the letters are shadowed). Help!
