Default PC Internet access destroyed by a virus

    I think/assume my PC has a virus.
I cannot access the Internet due to: "ERROR-Please install a Modem".
    My Device Manager is empty.
The Performance & Maintainance icon has been removed from my Control Panel.
    I cannot restore.The PC is a Dell Dimension E310 with Windows XP/Service Pack 2.

    Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
    Software Version:7.0
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite

    I did not finish.Type:VirusStatus:
The selected treatment failed for this item.
    Try alternative treatment.Information:
This file could not be repaired.

Try deleting or renaming the file.
    Renaming did nothing.
I cannot access the Internet to try those other things.
Still tells me I do not have a modem.

    win32.monder.gen is the C:\ProgramFiles\oneAlarmSB\bar\1.bin\A4PLUGIN.DLL
or is this another detection? Or is this monder.gen found in the location?

You may want to give sdfix.exe a shot with this:
