Default Any actions (other than obvious) to take with regard to Conficker.

I'm not clear what (if any) actions we should take in order to avoid the Conficker worm other than doing the normal "windows updates" and "virus/spyware" updates in ZA.
As I understand it, there are a lot of variations of this worm that could theoretically fool any given AV engine, but does the latest AV update
for
ZA detect
the "known"
variations of this worm at this point, and if so, is it just a matter of hoping that some new variation of the worm is not on the system?
Would it help at all to
download KKiller_3.14.zip file and run the exe as per the "How to remove the Conficker worm" thread in this forum, or would just keeping ZA updated and running be sufficient?
Thanks,
Larry

{ I took the test - I'm clean. If you have ForceField or ZAX you may get a 'suspicious site/ yellow alert' for the chart; do not be alarmed - this is 'new' trusted site, that FF has detected - you can 'set- trust/ allow' and send report back to ZA; false positive

Thanks -- that had some info that I had not yet seen, particularly this quote:
"If you've cleared your browser cache beforehand, and you can load the sites of Symantec, Eset, Avira, or AVG, you're clean because Conficker blocks access to them."
Assuming that this is an acurate way to test for the virus, this is a REALLY easy way to check for the presense of the worm.
