    Default WHY it seems so complicated just to un-install antivirus??

    Hi
    I've a similar situation, Antivirus - Task Encounter an error.. and its still not solved yet,i've tried everything but let me be honest to you,
    now seems to realise that this ZA security suite which just won a
    "cnet five star award for the month of april"
    isnt what we expect it to be just a working independent security suite..
    or probably is not what its created for..
    I do have a few logical question, firstly,
    is why it seems so complicated just to uninstall this software?
    Secondly, it seems that the antivirus database is easily corrupted? Totally opposite on KAS antivirus ~
    Thirdy, we need to search all around just to find a simple answer, isnt that weird for such a reputation?
    Fourth, isnt that reasonable to have a webupdate? Other security competitors they dont have such an issue.
    These are some of the problems/issues that i encountered in using ZASS. It seems a small issue to me
    if you plan to have a bigger role on this industry.

    to the Zone Alarm User Forum..NOTICE:Please note that ZASS and ZAXdo not play nice with many overlapping security tools (even if disabled). To troubleshoot ZASS/ZAX issues removethe other Security programsand install them back once you see that ZA works as it should. For example,Norton/Symantec, McAfee,AVG, Spyspweeper, Spyware Doctor, trojan hunter, adware, SpyBotS&D, PC tools Threat Fire, any otherAnti-virus, Anti-spyware, Registry Guard or locking tools, etc...The simplest procedure is to :1.Download the Latestinstallerpreferably with IE Browserand no Download Manager/accelerator like Get-Right, Livewire,BitTorrent) 2.     Please just download and run the tool, following the instructions.

    yes, under C:\WINDOWS\system32\ZoneLabs\avsys you will find a file called "_updLog.txt"Have a look there if you see any specific error.
    Whats the reason the proxy server address is not specified and HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found?

    My apologies!It is Sometimes very Difficult to Diagnose and fix a Computer from halfway across the Country,
    without All the Details,without the ability to sit in front of your Computer monitor and see what's going on..

    I fully understand your problems george,
    but lets look at from our point of view, when we as a common user
    having problems and livechat is closed
    and im not free chatting during weekdays so we tend to come here..as it is written on the header is "ZoneAlarm User Forum" and expecting to
    search for
    an answer..
    So basically this is not a ZoneAlarm forum to find solution.. but instead a ZoneAlarm discussion forumcorrect me if im wrong, because this is
    the first time im using ZASS and coming here to find an answer.
    I never had this issues/problems on using other products of security suites, and i believe there's a catch behind this trick that you mentioned earlier, ZA has compatibility
    issues with other security products that would not surprise me through this experience.
