    Mr.Fax thanks lots for your advice..I have spending my whole day reading this whole forum topics and finally, my ZAXS update button works great!! As what you had posted, I follow your advice by pressing ctrl + shift button then right-click on the zonealarm icon and choose reset..After restart,Update button is working charmly and now i'm having the latest antivirus and antispyware definition(really thanks for the advice).. But the default loopback 127.0.0.1 had disappeared. Will this affect the ZAXS in securing my notebook?

    Hi!please add back 127.0.0... as well as the DNS and DHCP IP addresses into the trusted zone.You could probably remove ZA and reinstall to have ZA properly configured.Cheers,Fax

    Under Zone enter Trusted.
    Under IP Address enter 127.0.0.1
    Under Description enter Loopback adapter.Click OK.Then Apply.
