Just stumbled onto the fidbox issue after defragging my HD. The fun never ends.
I use ZASS for AV, Spyware and firewall. From what I can deduce, Kaspersky, which is part of ZASS, creates this file and it grows (mine is about 1G) and gets fragmented. I do have some questions:
    1) I keep reading about people using NOD32. What is that for, if you use ZASS? Should I be using it and why? I bought ZASS to have AVand firewall.
    2) Can fidbox be defragged?
    3) Any hope of kaspersky fixing this?
    Windows XPZASS 8.0.298

I answered one by myself...I defragged it with defraggler...a great piece of freeware from the makers of CCleaner. You can defrag individual files with it as well as the whole drive...fast too.

Checked the drive a few minutes after successful defrag...guess what...it had already fragmented again.
