    Default no problem with virus scan, lock up at 99 percent completion of spyware scan

    Ok, the virus scan runs fine - no problems.
    When it runs the spyware program, it locks up at 99 percent completion (on a .pdf file no less)
    and the extreme security
    locks up -- i can still press cancel or pause / resume but these buttons do not effect the program in anyway, forcing me to do a full shutdown of the PC via task manager.
    There needs to be a solution to this issue:
    I would wager that Extreme security suite is not removing the
    previous files that are supposed to be updated and/or replaced- causing registry entries to remain that the install program should be deleting.

    Possibly it is not removing .dll or other programs that run interference with when the extreme suite is layered over the previous zone alarm product.
    (I went from zone alarm internet suite latest version, to the extreme suite)
    I tried both the update install and the clean install - -
    Zone alarm extreme locks up at 99 percent completion forcing a computer shutdown, and windows reload.

    p.s. see my other postings on what i did to get extreme security installed (it would not install correctly on either VISTA or windows XP latest service pack.)
    Seems to me that someone in the programing department should be on this --- and the installation should shut down truvector service automatically (since these are zone alarm software entities themselves) so that extreme security can be easily installed.
