    Default question about making exceptions

I am trying to mark some repeat IP addresses as exceptions but I still get alert boxes.
    What am I doing wrong?
Also, when I put the password in to okay that site temporarily, it okays all other sites without password until restart, including things that I have blocked by parental controls.

    Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
    Software Version:8.0
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite

I think you need to clarify your question for people to be able to respond.
What exactly does the alert say?
Are you talking about privacy or connections?
What means you OK a site with a password and then all other sites are allowed.
    Where? Who? List of alerts?

    The alert
(the alert is a green repeat program alert) comes up for itunes and lastfm.
    If I agree to allow
    the use of these sites
when the alert comes up, I have to put in the password. Once the password is put in for that setting, it allows my teenager to go to sites that the parental controls had denied.
I tried to make an exception under the advanced options in the antivirus section because that is the only place that I can find
to use that option. I can't
    type in the spyware
exceptions section and it is not populated for me.
I have entered: iTunes.com, LastFM.exe, and IPODSCROBBLER.exe for example in the antivirus section.
In the parental controls section, I
    have
    blocked these categories:
adult: nudity & porno, alcohol/tobacco, criminal skills/illegal skills/cheating, drugs: illegal drugs, gambling, hacking/proxy avoidance systems, pay to surf sites, violence/hate/racism, and weapons.
I want to allow the use of iTunes and lastFM automatically and not give up the parental controls.
