Default ZA/PCAnywhere 10.x you can't click ZA alerts

PCAnywhere host pc's running the ZA free program (latest, 61_737).
After connecting to the host, you can't interface with ZA at all.
If ZA window is up on the screen, you can't click anything. If a program alert comes up, you can't click either "Remember this..." or "Allow/Yes" or even "Deny/No".

Now when you do hover above the "Allow" button, it dims as though it knows your mouse is there, but clicking is futile....
In situations like this you have to hope that there is someone there around the host PC to click the ZA alerts/pgm for you.
    HELP!
Occurs on Windows 2000 OS SP4.

    Operating System:Windows 2000 Pro
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm (Free)
    Software Version:6.0

Unfortunately you have run smack dab right into a protection feature. ZoneAlarm will not allow a remote machine to click anything inside of ZA or its parts. This keeps virtual clicks and keystrokes from turning ZA off.

Thanks, I figured it was something like that, but I was holding out hope.
Must be a recent feature, b/c it didn't used to have that.
Would be nice if they made it a setting you could disable.

If I remember it came out with version 5. Prior to version 6 it could be turned off, but the bugs are getting nastier, and I believe some of the new exploits are able to virtually click like a mouse.

This also affects Remotely Anywhere, ie. you can't click anything in ZA remotely. This is extremely inconvenient, as you can't install any new apps and allow them through, and all alerts remain on top of Window you want to view and you can't get rid of them. Please can you make this security feature optional as I'm sure there are many like me who use remote-control software and are severly impeded by this. Better still you could allow it on a per-application basis, so you could make it possible for people to allow their legitimate RC software ie. PCAnywhere, Remotely Anywhere, etc to click and type in ZA, but not a nasty virus. At the end of the day, Zone Labs need to allow its users to balance the security vs the usability of their PCs, and not allowing users to toggle this feature is too draconian IMO.
