    Default svchost.exe blocked transmission

I continue to have the following blocked by ZAP. "Packet sent from (UDP Port 1051) was blocked 10 (DNS) was blocked." Program was svchost.exe

This seems to occur when the system has been idle for a while and thereafter I cannot get onto the Internet. My only two choices seem to be to stop and restart ZAP or reboot. Any ideas.

    Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Pro
    Software Version:5.x

See the post below yours started by Miguel and with the exception of installing ZA, which you already did, follow what was suggeseted. Basically adopt the same settings for GHPWin 32 (svchost.exe) and add the ip's of the DHCP and DNS servers to the trusted zone. The link how to do that you find in my first post. I thinkit may solve your problem.Best regards
