    Default VSMon.exe in Task Manager

Why is it that afer starting up my PC and I check in Task Manager, i get the following statistics for vsmon.exe?

    - CPU Time = 0:00:42

    - CPU Usage = 23% (!)

    - Mem Usage = 33,300k (!)

    - Page Faults = 549,491 (!)

It makes my computer really slow with those horrid stats!

    Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite

Hello,To comfort you; I have exactly the same problem as you have!Booting my pc gives vsmon cpu about 25%; I'm then not able to open Zonealarm from the system tray. The only way to get rid of this problem is disabling antivirus (and anti spyware) within Zonealarm. After reboot Zonealarm opens swiftly and can be opened without problem...Guess it's still a bug of some kind...I'm also looking for a solution!WinXP SP2Zonealarm Internet Security Trial (still) 6.11 GB RAMCPU Intel 2,6Ghz
