Default XP Event Log Error 55

Everytime I run the ZA anti virus Windows XP SP2 recently started to produce immediatly upon completion Event Log Error 55:
The file system structure on the disk is corrupt and unusable. Please run the chkdsk utility on the volume C:.

Any chkdsk, even in OS recovery consol mode, yes evn spinrite6 at level 4 (a lenghty process) returns a good disk!

The ZA antivirus scan starts at 6am and persistently at 6:22:xx (When it finishes) the error happens with no other apps running.
No matter what I do scan etc. the error occurs again after a ZA spyware scan.

That message is generally bad news - as you hard drive is going to fail sometime soon.If you're really sure the hard drive isn't actually faulty, I find it bizarre a virus scanner would trigger such an error.

Please report this to Tech Support, they need to be made aware of the error you are recieving.

Also have you looked within the Event Viewer to see what the precise error is?

Also have you tried reinstalling ZASS yet?
