Hi Just try denying the internet Acces for the WinAmp and any Server rights if it has any been given any.

Are you using AOl browser or AIM or AOL as a internet provider?

If you are not using any mIRC or IRC chats at all, then block these TCP/UDP ports used by mIRC/IRC:

    6600-6670 (especially 6667, if I recall correctly)

Be careful too, since lots of trojans/malware will use IRC ports to "call home" to report to the hacker or to bring in more of their friends. They tend to be a little more less traceable and a little more less restricted. I myself have these ports blocked in the router itself- one less security hole to worry about. Plus the IRC itself is famous for it's own special breed of worms and trojans- using IRC does pose some extra risks.

You may try an Ewido online scan from and a run with your antivirus and an additional run with an online scan from Plus your antispyscanners should be used- additional freeware: Aquared free antimalware scanner from and superantispyware from

    Best regards.

If they're not using IRC and if they are using the latest ZoneAlarm Security Suite, they can block IRC function full stop in the IM Security>Settings>Block IRC option
