Default ZONE ALARM BLOCKED INTERNET ACCESS

    Zone Security Alert
Zone Alarm has blocked Internet Access to 10.0.0.2 (DNS) form your computer.
Program: Generic Host Process for Win32 Services
    This message comes up often.
Sometimes I can continue to surf the net, while other times I can not load a new page.
When I shut off ZA, I can resume using the internet.

    Under
Programs Control /Programs Tab/ Server Internet columm, ZA told me not to Allow Generic Host Process for Win32 Services, as that could cause serious problems to my computer.
    I
    read the thread:

Common Program Settings, Expert Rules For Common Programs part 2, Generic Host Processes for Win32 Services, but am not certain whether to do this or not.
Does anyone know what I should do?
    Thanks,
    Marc

What IP address is your LAN setup on? If you have no LAN, what is the first 2 octets of your IP address?

No more info needed. That first warning is just another computer on your LAN trying to do a DNS lookup. If you trust all the computers on your network, then just add your LAN subnet into the trusted zone in ZA. If you don't trust them, then just deny them when it comes up, except for the router when it comes up.
