Default Zone Alarm tells me it has recognised a new network

I've just upgraded to Zone Alarm Anti-Virus and when I installed the program told me it had recognised a new network and now I have had the same message again and the option to allow access to the internet only or to my comfort zone.

The thing is I'm not on a network so is someone hacking in or what? It provided an IP address too at the top of the box but on checking that the software I used said 'can't be identified'

All is OK...............the IP should be your own IP address and the new network should be that of your ISP.

    Open ZoneAlarm/Firewall/Zones
new network should be in the internet zone (you can rename this network to your ISP name if you prefer.

Loopback adapter in the Trusted zone

Thanks Lyle. The fact that it does that in order to link to my own ISP is reassuring. Just one thing though. The ISP it displayed at the top was not my own. Maybe that of my ISP?
