Were the previous security uninstalled and then were the correct cleanup utilities used?

Give an indication of what was uninstalled and I will give the correct links for the cleanup tools for the appropiate software.

What is still running, in terms of security besides the ZASS?

It was a brand new installation on new Toshiba notebook. Notebook came with McAfee, but it expired and I uninstalled it. Hope this helps.

    McAfee clean up tools:

    http://download.mcafee.com/products/...leanupTool.exe

    http://download.mcafee.com/products/...tches/MCPR.exe

Then run the freeware reg/file cleaner:

    http://www.majorgeeks.com/CCleaner_S...ish_d4191.html

This should remove any McAfee remmants and other junk.

Still have the Toshiba Config Free included with the new Toshiba notebooks/laptops? What about the Power Saver, hardware checker and driver updater and others?

Well, I am still getting this error message. Initially, it was happening during the shutdown process, now at start and shutdown. I have to press at least 4-5 cancel in order to shut down laptop. Please help.
