This post originally got botched somehow and I couldn't retrieve it to edit it, so I'm trying to repeat it here.
About a week ago I upgraded the program which connects me to my ISP.
I made
no changes to ZoneAlarm (v.
The connection program has been working fine.
I have connected dozens of times since upgrading without any kind of alert from ZA.
Then suddenly this morning I receive an alert from ZA that the program is trying to connect to the internet.
Checking the alerts log shows that the alert is of the type 'program changed'.
Delving a little further into this, ZA suggests that if I 'recently' upgraded the program, it's normal to receive an alert like this.
Is this what ZA means by 'recently'--the program connecting many times to the internet before ZA notifies me that it has taken notice of the change?
Is this normal behavior, or is something else going on here?
