Default Unexpected update message from ZA

    Hello,
my system (Win2k SP4) crashed when I tried to stop a USB drive with a BSOD. When I rebooted it was very slow to respond and Outlook (2002) hung a couple of times before working ok.Then an update box appeared with the ZA logo in the top left corner saying an update had completed but not saying what update. On ok-ing the box the "you must shut down and restart for updates to take effect" message appeared.I did not think ZA ran this sort of update without asking first! As yet I have not rebooted. I am running version 7.0.337.000
Anyone any ideas what is going on please?
    Regards John

    Hello,
many thanks for the info. It was the rebooting bit that worried me. I've noticed the auto spyware updates before

Your're welcome...It should have asked "ZA needs to reboot to apply changes" (or something similar) .. and if you say "no" it will not re-boot.At least this is what has happenedhere...Fax
