Default Firewall Alert - Blocked Access

Any help appreciated.I have ZASS 7 on my main computer , and just installed ZA Free on my spare. I have a Beklin router with wired connections to both. Everything seems fine. I can share files and printers etc EXCEPT for the alert with pops up a couple of hours after the system is started. Prior to the alert, everything seems fine
    "Firewall has blocked access to
<main computer IP address > ( DNS ) from your computer.Program: Generic Host Processes for Win32.
    The log shows the following
Packet sent from UDP 1025 to < main computer IP address > ( DNS ) was
    blocked. SVCHOST.EXE.
When this is active , I can't browse the Net. Obviously I think I should permit it , but I just want to check first ?If it's a Windows component ,I thought it would automatically allow it ?
    Thanks

    Operating System:Windows XP Pro
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm (Free)

Add the router IP to the trusted zone.
Put the DNS(s) and DHCP servers in the trusted zone. Use command window and get the information from the ipconfig /all command to type it into ZA.
Give generic host process server rights in the internet zone on the Program Control tab.
