While doing a clean install and trying to determine if that erased all evidence of my previous install,I stumbled upon c:\Windows\Internet Logs\fwpktlog.txt.It seems to be a log of packet information. However, its contents differ from what I see in the firewall section of the log viewer. For example, fwpktlog.txt has many entries like this one (with my IP Xed out):
273873 Packet DROPPED: Proto: IP_TCP Flags: 0x0000000a Src: 18.104.22.168 Dest: X.X.X.X SrcPort: 80 DstPort: 1056
Yet the log viewer shows no mention of 72.anything.
And nothing is going obviously wrong with my network usage. What is actually in this file?
And how are the timestamps encoded?
