Default Windows Security Update Package

ZA has blocked a request for "Security Update Package is trying to set 'wextract_cleanup0' to run each time your computer is started".

My question is whether allowing this to alter my registry will interfere with Zone Alarm Pro's functioning?

Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
Software Version:7.0
Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite

You should allow - 'wextract_cleanup0' to run - this is a "normal" temp file that occurs with many Microsoft/ Windows updates and Windows Defender updates.
You may also see this with Webroots SpySweeper, too
- their alerts.
Wextract Cleanup0 is valid and legal software included or sold to help clean up temporary or cab files created by the installer software for a wide variety of software.
You get a message at the end of an install. Reboot, then it runs just for the purpose of cleaning up all the debris left over from an install session. It is designed to self destruct after this work is done. After a day or two - you can remove it from your program control list ( the same for "self-extracting cabinet&quot
Just wondering you mention ZA Pro and ZA Suite in your post; which one do you have?
:0NaiveMelody NYC 9-14-07 - Time Of The Season - The Zombies
