Default OCR Aware Suspicious Behaviour Alert

Hi. I keep getting a Suspicious Behaviour Alert from ZoneAlarm about a program OCR Aware. The alert states that the program is attempting to monitor user activities. The application is OPWARESE4.EXE and it's from a company called Nuance Communications. I think that it is part of the function of the scanner I installed but if so, why does it need to be able to "monitor user activities"?

    Any help appreciated!

    Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
    Software Version:7.0
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite

Default Re: OCR Aware Suspicious Behaviour Alert

    Dear kirlex:

What are its program permissions in the Program Control panel, Programs tab for OpwareSE4.exe? Also, under the SmartDefense column, what value is listed(Auto/Custom)?

    Trust Level
    Access-Trusted
    Access-Internet
    Server-Trusted
    Server-Internet
    Send Mail

If all of these are populated with a blue question mark(Ask), especially Trust Level, that could be the reason. A Suspicious Behavior alert also gives you the opportunity to checkmark the option, Apply this setting to all suspicious behaviors exhibited by this application.
