    Default Frequent security alerts

I'm running Security Suite version 7.0.462.000 on a laptop using XP with SP2 installed. Recently I have been getting numerous security alerts that some program is trying to access some other program, (variable, but mostly trying to access something to do with Zone Alarm). When I have been happy that this is genuine I have clicked the "do this for all instances from this program" (or whatever)box then accepted the action, but the next time I have run the computer I still get the same message. I guess the first thing to do is to uninstall Zone Alarm and then reinstall, but are there any issues I need to know about, or could it be something entirely different?

    Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
    Software Version:7.0
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite

Hi!most probably a corruption of the ZA settings,to correct ityou willneed the reset the ZA databases. To reset the ZA setting do this:1.) Hold down the Ctrl and Shift keys together
2.) Right click on the ZA icon near your clock
3.) Choose 'Reset' from the box that comes up
4.) Choose Yes on the Reset Settings dialog box
5.) When prompted, choose OK to restart your system
6.) Follow the on screen configuration prompts after rebootHowever a cleaner solution is to remove ZA and reinstall. To completely remove ZA see here:http://www.nohold.net/noHoldCust25/P...n_install.htmland for installing back see here:http://www2.nohold.net/noHoldCust542...structZAP.htmlZA database corruption usually happens for the following reasons:- Recent or multiple crash/hang of the system - Cold shutdown (improper suhtdown)- malware infections- Other software conflicting with ZAHope this helps.Cheers,Fax
