Default Disk Defragmenter

Does anyone have any idea why Disk Defragmenter would want or need access to a trusted zone re Zone Alarm?

Thanks.

The disk defragmenter will need access to the loopback (127.0.0.1) and possiblely the non route (0.0.0.0). Both are trusted (and both do not access the internet).
This will be seen in the Logs of the Log Viewer or in the Alerts. Just set the logging to the highest configuration and the Alerts to High.

Sorry to be so dumb, but how do you set those options to "Highest"?

I'm running the FREE version if that makes a difference.

I went to Logs and Alerts. Alerts was off so I set it to "on". Was this correct?

Yes that would be correct.
Any Advanced or Custom buttons on the Main of the Alerts and Logs?

Cheers.
