    Default ZoneAlarm doesn't allow itself to scan on Max. Prog. controls

    The only way I can scan for viruses/spyware is to reset ZA to the "Learn" mode.
    Once on Max settings in programs control, it gives me a high alert for EVERY file it scans (thousands!) and it is useless to check the box "to apply this setting to all suspicious behaviors exhibited by this application."
    How do I get ZA to recognize itself scanning the system?
    I've been so busy lately, that all I've done is reset it to "learn" mode but this did not happen in the past.
    It seems it started happening after an update.

    Hi!

    try to reset completely ZA settings and do not load previous backup of the ZA settings.

    This way:

    1.) Hold down the Ctrl and Shift keys together
    2.) Right click on the ZA icon near your clock
    3.) Choose 'Reset' from the box that comes up
    4.) Choose Yes on the Reset Settings dialog box
    5.) When prompted, choose OK to restart your system
    6.) Follow the on screen configuration prompts after reboot

    Try to keep ZA at defaults.

    ZA database can get corrupted if:

    - Your system crash/hang
    - You perform cold shutdown (improper of forced shutdown)
    - You are infected by Malware
    - You are running third party programs that conflicts with ZA (e.g. other antispyware software, firewall, antivirus, registry tools, etc..)
