    I am using the trial version of Zone Alarm
    The status says that my anti-virus is off.

    When I click on Anti-virus/Anti-spyware and click on the "Main" tab Anti-virus is off.
    It says, "Computer is vulnerable to viruses", and "Anti-virus scanning is de-activated.
    This can occur if the system clock has been set forward or anti-virus updates are disabled.
    Click here to update now and re-activate scanning."

    I click on the link to get it updated and restarted and it will not restart.
    I need help with this problem.

    I have windows XP sp3 with zonelabs 7.xxx (latest). Last week (sept 4, 2008)
    microsoft released a series of patches and version 7 started to struggle. I upgraded to version 8 and I now have the identical problem to yours.
    I can use Firstdefense ISR to revert back to a previous image, same senario repeats.
    Any ideas anyone?
