Default Generic Host Processes for Win32 wrongly (?) asking to accept connections from internet

Over the last few months I have been plagued by sporadic requests from Generic Host Processes to accept inbound connections from the internet (on various high port numbers, perhaps once every 3 weeks or so). When this happens all traffic through this ICS box is stopped until the request is denied - which is a real pain since it is supposed to run unattended. Under program control it is not set to ask (set to supertrusted, 3 ticks, 2 crosses) - so how do I get it to not ask, or to deny these requests automatically?
This is ZA pro 8.0.059 on WinXP pro sp3.
    Thanks
    Tim

Thanks, but I've already seen that. That post says you should never give internet server rights to Generic Host Processes
unless something special is being done. My problem is that ZA frequently hangs my internet connection waiting to be told to deny a connection, when internet server rights have, indeed,
    not been given.

"plagued by sporadic requests from Generic Host Processes to accept inbound connections from the internet (on various high port numbers, perhaps once every 3 weeks or so)"

    Which or what ports?
    Which IPs?
Which or what protocol - UDP or TCP?

    Oldsod.
    Best regards.
