Default JavaW.exe comes on each time ZoneAlarm started

Each time I start ZoneAlarm Pro, ZoneAlarm then puts up a dialogue box saying that JavaW.exe is asking for internet access. This happens 3 times. Since it happens when I start ZoneAlarmPro, I wonder if JavaW.exe is necessary for ZoneAlarmPro to function properly. On the other hand, if this were the case, I would think that ZoneAlarmPro would give information saying that JavaW is necessary. So far I have blocked JavaW.exe from starting, but I wonder if I am somehow disabling ZoneAlarmPro when I do that...

    Operating System:Windows XP Pro
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Pro
    Software Version:6.0

The javaw.exe process is the Java Virtual Machine. It is used by your computer to run programs written in the java programming language. It is likely wanting to check for updates to the application and is not able to gain access whenever ZA blocks it. I don't believe it appears to be a security risk and granting 'access' is OK. It is not part of ZA in any fashion.
