Default Cannot connect to the internet when ZA is active

Hi folks,I connect to the Net through a BT Voyager 205 ASDL router - it is a direct connection - no ISP login; you switch the router on and you are connected. I have a static IP which is outside the DHCP range of the router. However I don't have a clue how to set up the Zones to safely allow me to connect to the internet when ZA is active. Can anyone help?

    Operating System:Windows XP Pro
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Pro
    Software Version:6.0

Okay I've reinstalled ZA and it has detected the Network range and subnet mask of my router. Do I put this in the internet Zone or the trusted Zone? Any other info that i should be made aware of?

If you have a network with more then one computer and want to share resources among them put it in trusted, if you have a standalone computer or having more then one you just want to share the internet connection put it in internet.
    Best regards
