    Sounds like your ZA database has gotten corrupt if it can't remember your permissions. Reset the database this way; you will lose your customizations and will need to reconfigure Zone Alarm.

    1. Boot your computer into the Safe Mode. {Instructions if needed}
    2. Navigate to the c:\windows\internet logs folder.
    3. Delete the backup.rdb and iamdb.rdb files in the folder.
    4.Reboot into the normal mode.

    Reboot your computer and when you get the alert again, check the 'allow' and 'remember' boxes as before. Once you have done that, right click on the ZA icon in your system tray, select 'Shutdown Zone Alarm', wait about 2 minutes then reboot your computer again. Do you still get the alert?

    Then the next thing to try is a database reset which I think should fix it. Reset the database this way; you will lose your customizations and will need to reconfigure Zone Alarm.

    1. Boot your computer into the Safe Mode. {Instructions if needed}
    2. Navigate to the c:\windows\internet logs folder.
    3. Delete the backup.rdb and iamdb.rdb files in the folder.
    4.Reboot into the normal mode.
