    Default CAn't use MSN MEssenger and eMule

    I'm having trouble using MSN Messenger 7.5. I've given it access and server rights but I still can't log in and it says the problem is my Firewall. Mind you I still can't log in even if I turn off Zone Alarm Pro.

    Regarding eMule, the problem is that altough my connection passes the TCP test, it fails the UDP test. I've fowarded the ports to both my router and the firewall and still can't seem to pass the UDP test.

    I cant access MSN Messenger more than 20 minutes !

    I was able to use MSN Messenger today, until ZoneAlarm prompted me to update, which I did.
    Since then I was unable to sign onto MSN Messenger, until I made the setting changes mentioned below.


    ***Work Around******
    I have noticed that if you change the Program Control to any setting which is NOT medium, you can gain access. Even if you change it to HIGH! My SmartDefense Advisor is set to MANUAL. This is not perfect as occasionally I have to try logging in several times before it is successful.

    Hope this helps, but this kind of problem is unsatisfactory. I'm new to ZoneAlarm and if this happens frequently it will be my first and last purchase.
