Default ZA conflict with IE7 Beta 3

I loaded IE7 Beta 3 and when ZA 6.5 is running I cannot access the internet. I shutdown ZA and the computer and I am restricted to any of my files and programs on the computer. To resolve I uninstalled ZA 6.5 and reloaded ZA 5.1, ZA 5.1 works fine and everything is normal...Any ideas or fixes to make ZA 6.5 work?

    Thanks in advance

Hey, I an curious. Why put up with a beta IE from MS and play with the ZA, instead of leaving the ZA alone and just uninstalling the beta version from MS? Oldsod

Thank you very much for your help and the information. I used the method you had outlined and have everything running again. I have backgraded to ZA Pro Ver 6.1 because the Microsoft knowledge base said the two are incompatible. I chose to try the IE7 Beta3 because of problems I was having with IE6 and ZA Pro 6.5.

    Thanks again

The reason I chose to use IE7 Beta 3 was because of the problems I was having with IE6 and ZA Pro 6.5. When I loaded IE7 the system became so corrupted it was difficult to remove programs and the problems became more difficult when ZA was started. I have backed up to an older version of ZA Pro and followed SlyFox's suggestions and have the systm running very well with IE7. I appreciate your post and the help.

    Thanks

thanks for the help SFox and y'all! it really helps.

i was too unable to reinstall the free ZA because i want to try ie7 beta3, and i read it somewhere to uninstall ZA first, install ie7, and reinstall ZA.

question: why avg is not detected by ZA as an installed antivirus?
