    Default Internat Access from PC on LAN

    I have just set up my LAN (single cable 2 PCs). I can access theInternet from the main PC,but cannot access the Internet from the satelite PC.Internet accessworks OK if I shut down Zone Alarm on the main PC.I can also access each PC from the other and read all files and folders. Printer sharing works OK, just no access to the Internet from.Can anyone assist me please. I don't know much about Networking PCs and this is my first attempt.I am using Windows XP on both machines.Thanks

    Unfortunately ICS does not work with Zone Alarm Free on high security. You'll need to upgrade to Zone Alarm Pro or use a router.

    The router option is the better one. Buy a router with a built in 4-port switch (ie 4 network connectors). Connect the PC's directly into the router inlet ports, and connect the router outlet port to the cable modem.

    It should all just work, but if it doesn't get back to us and we will try and figure out what the problem is.
