    Default Internet access

I cannot access internet when internet security zone is set on high, access granted when set to medium or when disabled. My IP address is set in the trusted zone. Can somebody please adviseon how to resolve this issue. I would like my zone set to high for a greater sense of security. Am I fooling myself believing that this is even necessary?

    Operating System:Windows XP Pro
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite
    Software Version:6.5

Hi Kefing, your internet security zone should be set to high to keep your PC hidden from the outside but your IP address should be set to Internet not Trusted if you are connected directly to the internet. If you are using a router, you can add the IP address(es) of your DHCP/DNS Servers to your Trusted Zone to not possibly lose your connection after a while.
